What is Yogisoap’s most popular product?
Our most popular product is our Kundalini Energy Head and Body Wash. Inspired by Bikram yoga instructor Kevin Lincicome, our most popular scent body wash is made from organic Olive, Jojoba and Coconut oils and scented with our secret blend of 9 all natural essential oils. Our scent is a unique mixture of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Spearmint, Wintergreen, Orange, Lavender, Ginger and Cinnamon Leaf essential oils. The combination of these essential oils is great for the body and leaves you feeling awake, energized and ready for your day. After showering with Kundalini Energy Head and Body Wash, you’ll feel energized and refreshed from head to toe!
Uses for Kundalini Energy Head and Body Wash?
We’ve had lots of feedback from customers who use Kundalini Energy Head and Body Wash in more than just the shower. Kundalini is a great hand soap for use in your whole house and several people have told us that Kundalini is the best foot soak they have ever used. Perhaps the best compliment is from several women who have used Kundalini for shaving their legs and from several male triathletes who have used it to shave their bodies. They have all told us it is better than any shaving cream they have ever used. Thank you for the great compliments!
Why essential oils?
Plain and simply because they are all natural, good for your body and smell great. When you have a choice to use something that is all natural versus something that is synthetic or petroleum based, well the choice is easy. Natural essential oils are made from plants and are good for your body. When you have a choice like that, choosing all natural is pretty easy.
How do Essential Oils work?
Essential Oils enter the body in 3 ways. They can be applied to the skin, inhaled or ingested. As our skin is permeable, applying essential oils either directly to the skin or through use of a soap or lotion, the skin will absorb the essential oils just like it would absorb the ingredients in a doctor prescribed therapy cream or nicotine patch. By placing the essential oils on your skin, you are receiving the all natural benefits that come with using and all natural product. The second way is through inhalation. For example, you could use Eucalyptus oil to help reduce a cough or Peppermint oil to help reduce fatigue or nausea. Molecules that are inhaled are carried to your lungs and interact with your Olfactory system (physical organs and cells that relate to your sense of smell) or your Limbic system (the system in your body directly connected to the parts of your brain that control stress levels, memory, heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and hormone balance, which can explain the relationship of how smells affect and/or trigger emotions in your body). For the most part, essential oils are put into a diffuser for inhalation. A third way is through ingestion or swallowing. Orally ingesting essential oils is NOT recommended as a great deal of knowledge and expertise is necessary for safe practice. Some essential oils can be very toxic to your body if ingested, so make sure you consult your doctor before ever ingesting an essential oil.
What is organic and why is it preferred to other non-organic products?
At it’s most basic level, being “organic” refers to the use and consumption of products that have been grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. This means using products that are grown with sustainable farming practices and grown on certified organic farms. Organic is always preferred to non-organic, because the use of organic products is better your body and better for the environment. We all live on the same planet and breathe the same air, so whatever we can do to more organic and sustain our planet, the better it will be for us and our children.
